I'm having a DMB weekend and love this song. Also decided to get my hair cut and eat ice cream instead of making pots today in hopes of being refreshed and making better pots tomorrow.

out of the kiln and straight to first street gallery
My meeting with the gallery was at 1... The kiln was still at 350 degrees at 12:50. So I didn't get much time with these pots.
Jake calls this one gimpy. I <3 gimpy.

laying down the glaze
Is probably my least favorite part. 3-5 layers of brushed on underglaze makes me a little loopy.
but the end result is worth it.

mugs in their new homes and new work
So mugs arrived at Trouble Coffee Company last week. Some drama, but it's all worked out now.
Diana Faytis amazing and went to trouble, took some pics of the cups in their new home.
Diana is the best. <3
These 4 bowls are headed to their new home in portland Oregon today. (colors are off in this pic...)
some new bowls going to 1st street gallery in Neptune Beach along with some new knitting bowls.
and here is not so little man. 14 months yesterday.

husbands birthday!
It's my husbands 30th birthday today.
No pots today just food.
I looked up how to make frosting, never realized how easy it is. I will never buy store bought frosting again. I got so excited with this new skill that I made 3 different kinds.
whipped peanut butter
cream cheese
and white russian buttercream. (i kept adding vodka and kaluha.. so it's a bit strong, but i'm sure jake will love it)
I'm excited to ice the cupcakes and put the cake toppers on :)
