hot pots and a happy dance

I'm done experimenting with glaze application for now. I've arrived at my happy place.

Did a 1/4 of a load just to be sure it would work out the way I wanted it to and for the first time ever, I wouldn't change or tweak a thing. This is possibly due to only sleeping 15 min intervals from 1am- 5am and right now anything that isn't a teething baby makes me happy.

Oh on a cool mom note, Hunter can officially say mom, mama and knows what it means :) :) and he can mimic the word Jake. Not sure if he knows jake = dad yet but he can mimic and babbles it all the time. JAKE JAKE JAKE JAKE JAKE JAKE JAKE.

So the exciting news of the day is that the big teething binge we have been on is almost over.




Other than that doing a small bisque tomorrow to test a few things out. Why does it feel like i'm always testing something? I'm ready to fall into a predictable groove. I need to get one of these bowls ready for the North Beaches Art Walk Auction by saturday.

We've been busy here the last 2 weeks with visiting a bunch of family and teething.

I haven't been in the studio at all, but I am hoping to get in some time these weekend. I'm thinking about Canisters, and succulent vases along with some pendants.

Hopefully I'll have something exciting to post about later.

For now here is a picture of my little man and me at the beach. He borrowed a friends pants, since i was a mommyfail and forgot his at home. (the sand tears his little knees up) But he is manly enough to rock the pink ruffles.
